Message from the Chairman
|
 The Bartlett Chamber of Commerce stands as an advocate for business in Bartlett and surrounding areas. It serves over 340 company and individual members and acts as a catalyst between the private and public sectors in promoting economic prosperity.
At the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce our priorities include promoting education, entrepreneurship and a pro-business environment. We are focused on quality growth that centers on the creation of new good paying jobs and attracting businesses, which promote a higher standard of living in our area. We have recently established an initiative to create “Focus Groups” in divided into three distinctive categories: Large Business/Industrial, Retail Store Front, and Home Based Business.
We host many events throughout the year that focus on business and governmental issues including our annual Breakfast with the Village, Meetings with elected officials including US and State Congressmen, and projects centering on the business environment. We focus on the success of entrepreneurs, emerging growth companies and, especially, the financial success of our many small businesses in Bartlett. Our Bagels & Business morning meetings represent opportunities for our members to enhance the ability to increase their visibility through continuing education and networking.
We are diligently working to enhance our business and quality of life environments for future generations. Our specific focus this year is on the following areas: creating awareness of the value of membership through focus groups, member education, building stronger relationships with the Village of Bartlett, and enhancing our already prominent web presence.
I encourage you to BE a member of our organization. If you haven’t joined already, we would welcome you into our world. This is one of the very best chambers of commerce anywhere and I cannot imagine being in business in Bartlett and not being a member of the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce. Whether you participate in the many activities of the Chamber or not, this is the only organization in our community that is an advocate for all business and it is vital that you be a part of the group that advocates for our town’s quality of life and economic future.
